This is a fake poster for the opera "Madama Butterfly" by Giacomo Puccini. Its about a geisha that falls in love with an American general named Pinkerton, then he goes off and marries an American lady, then she kills herself. The album Pinkerton references this a few times.

Absolutely stunning poster. I love the colors and the subtle steam that becomes her long flowing hair. Just beautiful.
